Intro to XHTML - Week 2 Assignment - Part ii

This page shows 2 different methods of laying out poems so that they're indented:

1. Using nested bulleted / numbered lists with a list-style-type of none.
2. Using the <pre> tag to indent the text as required

Background images have been added for fun! But I found I had to add each image against a different block level element... is there any way of repeating an image within one block level image, other than using a continuous repeat in the x /y axis? I wonder...?
